ENGELS TO WILHELM LIEBKNECHT

IN LEIPZIG

Folkestone, 15 August 1890

Dear Liebknecht,

We are temporarily installed here in the Bellevue Hotel, St John's Road, Folkestone and are awaiting word from you or, better still, you yourself.

We shall probably find more suitable lodgings within the next week or fortnight at the most. In any case we shall be here until next Thursday, the 21st, and, as soon as I'm certain of another address, I shall write to you. Should you arrive in the meantime, the people in Kentish Town[1] are kept constantly informed of my WHEREABOUTS.

So let's hope we see you soon. Warm regards to you and your wife from Nim, Pumps[2] and

Your
